Rick started in the appraisal industry in a management training position with Hemet Federal Savings. After graduating from California State University, San Bernardino, Rick held various management positions in the real estate appraisal departments.
Working for a combined twelve years with Home Savings of America and Great Western Bank, Rick gained a vast expertise in real estate valuations. As Appraisal Manager of the bank’s Major Loan Department, Rick was involved with appraisals of large general commercial, industrial, residential, acreage, and special use properties. In 1992, Rick moved into the Independent Fee Appraisal field, which he is a founding partner and President of ProWest Appraisal, Inc. Rick has achieved two professional designations from appraisal guilds that promote higher education in the valuation industry.

Barb has lived in Southern California since 1965. Barb started her career in the Appraisal Department of Security Pacific National Bank, and later moved on to Hemet Federal Savings & Loan where she eventually was the Assistant Branch Manager in the Hemet Main Office.
Seeing growth in her career, Barb became a district supervisor with San Diego Federal S&L, which eventually became Great American Savings Bank. Barb simultaneously worked with her husband in performing real estate appraisal services as Independent Fee Appraisers. When the licensing of appraisers came into effect in 1992, ProWest Appraisal was initially set up as a partnership, designated as a Minority and Woman Owned Business, which Barb is a founding partner. She is an officer of ProWest Appraisal, Inc. and a Certified General Appraiser licensed by the Bureau of Real Estate Appraisers (BREA) in California.
Barb has worked with other designated appraisers on commercial and residential properties all over Southern California, for lending, expert witness assignments, estate and tax planning, and right of way, to name a few.

Randy is a Certified General Appraiser with appraisal licenses in California, Arizona and Oregon, achieving over thirty years experience in the real estate appraisal profession. Randy has a track record as a team leader, review appraiser, training and management with real estate appraisal firms and operations. His background includes real estate appraisals involving multi-million dollar projects in the Southwest United States. Randy also has experience with condemnation and eminent domain involving partial and full acquisitions, industrial, commercial, office, multi-family, vacant land, and specific use properties, to name a few.
